What is Advil (ibuprofen) and Advil side effect?
Advil (ibuprofen) belongs to the family of non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). It functions by inhibiting the secretion of hormones causing body inflammation and pain.
Advil (ibuprofen) uses
Advil (ibuprofen) is administered for treating pain and fever caused during conditions such as headaches, migraine attacks, body ache, menstrual cramps, dental pain, arthritis, back pain and other minor injuries.
It may also be administered for conditions not listed above.
Important information on Advil (ibuprofen)
Prolonged use of Advil may cause severe heart problems such as strokes or heart attack. Avoid the intake of Advil (ibuprofen) just before or after heart bypass surgery.
In case of any chest pain, difficulty in breathing, blurred vision, speech problems, or weakness on using Advil (ibuprofen) get immediate medical help.
Elderly patients should administer Advil with care, prolonged Advil uses can cause serious side effects which includes perforation of your stomach and intestine which can be fatal and happen without admonition. Inform your doctor in case of any signs of stomach bleeding, tarry or bloody stools, and blood in cough or dark colored vomiting.
Avoid using excessive Advil (ibuprofen) pills. Over dose could cause serious injury to your stomach and intestine. Don’t administer Advil (ibuprofen), for slight pain or fever.

Common side effects
Stomach pain, moderate heartburn, constipation, upset stomach, diarrhea, acidity, bloating, headache, sleepiness, nervousness, minor skin reaction, skin rashes, and blurred vision. If any of these Advil side effects become persistent or bothersome, consult a doctor
Serious side effects
If any of these Advil (ibuprofen) side effects occur, seek for immediate medical attention. Symptoms include severe allergic reaction: skin allergy, hives, and trouble in breathing, swelling of the tongue, throat, lips or face.

Trouble in urination, chest congestion, shortness of breathing, blurred vision, garbled speech, quick weight gain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, tarry dark stool, stomach ache, severe itching, fever, headache, blistering, skin reddening ,rashes, excessive bleeding, muscle pain, tiredness, numbness, stiff body and or convulsion.
